5 Different Ways to Wear a Watch

Wearing a watch seems such a natural thing. You just simply have to put it on your wrist and go on with your day. Even if it feels pretty basic, there are actually different ways to wear a watch for fashion or comfort.

1. Left hand. Wearing your watch on your left hand is said to be traditionally correct. The reason for this is that the majority of people are right-handed. So putting the watch on the left or the less dominant hand means protecting it from possible damages. Fine men would automatically use their left wrist for their watches as they display their elegant timeless pieces.
2. Right hand. For left-handed individuals, the best way to wear a watch is on the right hand. It gives them ease of movement with the right hand being their less dominant hand. Some watch brands have watches specifically designed for the lefties, with the crown located on the left.
3. Upside down. Many people have been wearing their watches upside down for decades and it is definitely ok. They find it easier to read the time when the watch is on the top of their list and this is very common to police officers, medical professionals, and the military whose hands are always on the work.
4. Loose. You have to adjust your watch strap to fit your wrist but for some people, wearing the it loose is much more comfortable especially if they are wearing a shirt with long sleeves.
5. Over the sleeve. Wearing the watch over the sleeves has gained popularity over the years for fashion-loving individuals. This may not be the right and traditional way to wear it but it provides comfort to some especially during cold days when long sleeves are truly essential.
