1. Don’t expose it to direct sunlight.

Prolonged exposure to the sun can easily deteriorate your watch. During summer when the temperature is humid, make sure to store your watches in their proper case, away from windows or from humid areas.

2. Be mindful of the water.

While most watches are water-resistant, there will still be a certain limit to it. Some watches are ok to be used in the pool but not on the beach. Some are only splashed water-resistant like wooden watches. There are also watches specifically used for diving.
